About

For more than three decades, I have worked internationally as a designer — shaping digital systems, visual identities and complex user experiences for organisations across the UK, Europe and USA.

Long before design became my profession, art was my passion.I have always been drawn to structure, balance and natural form — the quiet geometry found in leaves, the rhythm of ferns, the architectural elegance of fungi. In recent years, I have returned fully to that early fascination, bringing with me the precision, discipline and attention to detail developed over a lifetime in design.

I am a self-taught artist, guided by careful research, historical study and a deep respect for the great botanical illustrators — particularly the refined work of Pierre-Joseph Redouté. Each Studio Trow botanical begins with study and composition, then moves through a meticulous process of refinement to achieve clarity, balance and timeless simplicity. I’m also in awe of the pioneering American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein from whom I draw inspiration from for my acrylic canvas pieces.

My aim is simple: to create wall art which feels calm, considered and, maybe, art that brings a smile to your face.

Thank you for visiting Studio Trow and taking the time to explore. Creating art is a passion and sharing it with others is deeply rewarding. Your support helps independent artists continue doing what they love, and I’m truly grateful for every visitor who spends a little time here.”
